My name is Rod Moore and this BLOG is my personal FAT LOSS journey.

The journey started at the beginning of October 2007 when I reached a real low point in my life. I had hit an all time high body weight of 122kg (269 pounds). My body fat % had reached above 38% and my waist measurement was over 52? (132cm).

I was obese, exhausted, depressed and at times felt like I was about to die from a heart attack. My life had spiraled out of control as had my eating.

The turning point came for me when one night I had a severe attack of stomach acid that some how made its way into my lungs. It burnt my lungs so bad I thought I would choke to death. That night, not knowing what else I could do to change my life I decided to take my picture as I had seen in many physique transformation before and after photos.

So I made the decision to change. I had reached rock bottom with my life and knew that if I did not make changes in my lifestyle and health I may not reach my 40th birthday.

At the time my 40th birthday was just 6 months away so I made the decision to be in my best physical condition possible on my 40th birthday.

The biggest challenge was the confusion I had over what to eat, when to eat it, what exercise routine to follow, what fat loss supplements worked etc. There is so much information out there that it is difficult to know who is worth following and who to avoid.

I started to sort through everything I could get my hands on that related to the topic of burning fat off. I purchased every book and course I could get my hands on that covered the topic.

A lot of it was non-sense and did not apply to those of us who were seriously overweight or obese. There is so many courses, books, and programs written about fat loss by people who have never had a real fat problem in their lives.

Through it all I sifted and sorted what works and what does not. I was looking for strategies, ideas and techniques that the seriously overweight, or obese person could use to get out of the danger zone and into a normal healthy weight range.

In this Blog I will track my progress and give you updates on what is working for me, the research I am doing and what products I would recommend that could help you to.
